No, your teeth won't whiten past their natural shade, and will reach a plateau. Whitening should be discontinued when the teeth don’t appear to change any further or when the desired shade is reached, because using whitening products for longer than instructed can cause damage to the tooth structure.
No, whitening can remove any existing stains on the restorations, but it will not change their original shade. We recommend you have your teeth whitened prior to any restorations to avoid having to change your restorations to match the shade of your newly whitened teeth.
